Avoid passwords from the dictionary \u2013 regardless of language, dialect or jargon.<\/li><li>3. Avoid passwords containing personal information (name of family members\/pets\/date of birth\/etc.).<\/li><li>4. Never use a password that you have already used in the past.<\/li><li>5. Use a different password for every website \/ app.<\/li><li>6. Avoid using the &#8220;remember password&#8221; functions in the browser or in apps.<\/li><li>7. Never save or note down your passwords in plain text, either digitally or on paper.<\/li><li>8. Choose services that make use of two-factor authentication.<\/li><li>9. Passwords are easy to remember if they are based on e.g. a song title or a saying. Example: &#8220;This May Be One Way To Remember&#8221; and the password could be: &#8220;TmB1w2R!&#8221;<\/li><li>10. Use a password manager. These automatically generate strong passwords, save them in a keychain and allow them to be used simultaneously on multiple devices.<\/li><li>11.
